However if all of our calls were reimbursed at Medicare / Medicaid rates, we would go out of business for sure. Private insurance is the only thing keeping our heads above water right now. They're getting it for nothing now if they can't pay out of pocket. At least this way, there is something for 911 services to offer. My 2¢!
